Tuesday Jan 09, 2024
Episode 81 is a solo episode where I share what's on my heart regarding my newly released book "Dancing in the Rain".
I open up about the excitement of having my words out in the world and the anxiety that comes with being so vulnerable. I share the challenges I faced in deciding to reveal deeply personal family traumas, especially those involving my brother over the course of 49 years, and the emotional struggle of potentially hurting loved ones, particularly my Dad. It's a raw exploration of the fear of judgment and the necessity of telling one's own story.
Throughout the episode, I reflect on the central themes of my book, emphasizing the uniqueness of each family member's narrative, the difficulties of parenting, and the profound impact of words on relationships.
